Issue with featured image on dynamic backgrounds
I have built a CPT that includes the use of the standard WordPress Featured Image. Seems to work to pull the image everywhere except as a background for columns build with Dynamic tools such as carousels, archives and posts. Background for page templates seems to work, just not in an element.

This provides an example of both scenarios where as an image it works, but as a background, it does not.
It's important as you can see in the layout of the elements, the right column might have some variation in content height. Using a background instead of an image would allow the featured image to fill the left column no matter the height.

I'm sorry but I couldn't reproduce the problem you mentioned. For Posts, I created a template, in one column a added an Image element was set to display the Feature image and in one column I set to display the featured image on the background of that column https://jumpshare.com/v/fINDMW3Kgo8X0agf56kY

Could you please check if you have the latest versions of Brizy Free (1.0.126) and Brizy Pro (0.0.41)? Also, could you try to deactivate all plugins (except Brizy Free and Brizy Pro) and activate one WP default theme and check if the problem still appears?Thanks!

As I mentioned that in my initial message, please try the same but with a "carousel" or "post" element.
I have already tried tuning off all plugins (usually a good for debugging). Also using the latest versions of Brizy and Brizy Pro.
