    Hi Goldie,

Could you please check if you configured the domain as in these instructions? https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360041764052-Custom-domain-A-Record-Redirect- If this is your domain smashlab.com.au, in this case when you configure the domain in both Brizy Cloud dashboard and in the domain settings dashboard, you have to place instead of WWW the smashlab. Brizy Cloud allows maximum third domain level and in your case, the smashlab is the third domain level as the www for www.brizy.io

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

I'm not sure what you mean here. Is this because it's .com.au, so smashlab is third level. That seems odd. I'm not sure I can set the CNAME like that in the registrar.
Also, the site has been working with the current settings, it's just the SSL that's not

As I said in the previous message, Brizy Cloud can't accept this type of domain https://www.smashlab.com.au/ - because it has a fourth domain level. To make it work correctly, you have to add instead of www the smashlab in both Brizy Cloud settings and domain settings.

    Thanks!

    Sandra

    Hi Sandra,
That's not possible unfortunately, when adding a CNAME it adds to the beginning of the entire domain name, so I would end up with smashlab.smashlab.com.au
Given that the CNAME appears to be working fine, I don't think this advice is correct

    Hi,

I'm sorry for the advice regarding the fourth domain level. Recently I was updated that what you did is correct, but checking your project we found that you didn't set the A record - https://jumpshare.com/v/fBrMSBAjBrWJGmkuR9wC - could you please send to us a screenshot with how did you set the A record?

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra,

Im seeing the same as you in my Brizy settings, however I believe my A record is correct in my DNS settings. Screenshot attached: https://d.pr/i/e9kdNZ

    https://d.pr/i/6WKkVF

Using whatsmydns.com I see that the A record is showing as

    34.237.47.210

Interestingly its showing for most locations, but a couple are not picking it up.

    https://d.pr/i/V124ox

From what I can see, this appears to be a bug at the Brizy end, not in my setup.

    Cheers

From the first screenshot, I found that you added for A record at the Host the "@.smashlab.com.au" https://jumpshare.com/v/4vy1B2YFBK68J3D7nb19 but for Host, you have to add "@". Here in our documentation is mentioned this detail https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360041764052-Custom-domain-A-Record-Redirect-

    Could you please correct it?

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

That is how I set it up (with just the @). Once it is saved, the registrar automatically generates the full hostname @.smashlab.com.au
There is no other way to save it on my end.
This is an issue at the Brizy end

Thanks for these details. Our developers check your project and they said that now all is ok and correct and you have to wait for the propagation of all these changes.
    Thank you for your patience!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra,
The SSL certificate has still not been applied, could you please check where it's at?
    Thanks very much

    Hi,

We checked again the problem, but unfortunately, our system doesn't detect the A record you add and for this reason, we receive the "Not Found" result. More details regarding this problem of the DNS settings we can't found and provide. Please contact your domain provider and ask them to check the A record.
    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

For anyone following this, it appears that some domain registrars don't require the hostname to be @ for A Record. Once we removed that, the ARecord propogated fully and appears to be working properly
