Not working at all RWD on Brizy Editor
Hey,
I have got the issue I can't solve, or somehow default project space is a Brizy issue?
So buttons are texts. And they are not adjusting to screen size. Or mobile. Like zero RWD.
The question is why?
I use buttons as links. And here are long ones, but honestly, that's normal, the button is the button, you can type there whatever you want, it's HTML.
So I thought, ok, Brizy got some mistakes, let's make it just text linking, but the normal linking text does not have mouse-over texts. What is another issue? Playing against html/css standards is how it says - it surprises a lot.
So the question is short - can I have working RWD?
Or another - is there anything I do not know what maybe is hidden to make it work?

the buttons are not responsive because data added as the button size in the Brizy editor are added as padding. Because they are custom, they ignore the dimensions of the container and exceed the limits. Please refer to these screenshots: https://jmp.sh/nk6mL9P -> https://jmp.sh/3cTcbg7 Also here it influences the font-size, which is also is custom for each screen size.
The solution is simple: you can reduce the button size to 0 and you play only with the font size and make the necessary adjustment for the mobile and tablet layout. Here's a short screen recorder to better understand what I mean: https://jmp.sh/VwMmMv8
If you want to have padding on these buttons, you can rewrite the CSS and change it from px to %.

and I try to understand but somehow is not clear. let's rephrase.
a) add button
b) make it zero size
c) write text next to the button
But if then text would behave like button (mouse overs..). ?
I get with padding, and thanks for the explanation of how it's done in Brizy. Got that.
But still - it's wrong:) HTML is not about to limit the button sizes or limitations over mouse over.
So got your explanation how it's made - but again I would be pushy to make the visual editor working on basis of standards of HTML / CSS.
I know that RWD comes with some limitation, but still - no button sizes. I would bet with my 20 years of experience in digital and marketing that convincing somebody to put CTA into few words would kill the world we know and which operates called
mass market.
Please consider the revision of this functionality.0 -
