Gallery from folder - global block
I really want to see some development made to gallery feature. It's so manual - I'd love to see an organizational feature in the Media Library where I can create a folder or a category called "Graduation" and whatever images are in that directory can be imported as a gallery with lazy load engine so that images appear as you scroll. More and more people are building online galleries and I'd love to see Brizy invest in a showcase gallery with Mosaic, tiled, masonry, justified theme layouts.
This would be a game changer.

Hi Jeff,
we already have some suggestions and requests regarding the Gallery element but I also added your segregations.
btw: you can play with the height of the image and you can create different types of the gallery: https://jmp.sh/PQgLv9S -> https://jmp.sh/cOvdbUi

Thank you for the quick reply! I'm glad - so many of my clients (not photographers) have sites rich with media and images - they're always wanting a nice display of their gallery of images. Yours is as good as when galleries first became a "thing". Since then, the evolution is ecomm (selling certain files from a gallery layout), cloud file access and most importantly usability for the person building the gallery.
I do not want to continue with a gallery system that makes you add each image individually. I have too many and so does everyone else online. We want a quick and efficient way to access and build galleries and other plugins offer synchronization from Dropbox which is a huge asset as that's where my files are already and I can make a change to a directory and it can sync to be accessed alongside the media gallery that's built in.
Brizy doesn't currently work with these types of plugins that I'm trying but I want to be completely 100% Brizy with my work going forward. I just didn't realize Brizy Builder isn't perfectly compatible with other plugins yet.

Hi Jeff,
Sure, you're right about that but please don't forget that Brizy is not a gallery builder. Along the way, we'll improve the gallery element, but I don't think it will soon be as complex as you expect it to be. In the meantime, I recommend using a gallery plugin that works with shortcodes so you can use it on a Brizy page.

No I understand that. Sorry I'm just super excited about buying into brizy completely - just trying to work out some kinks that I'm facing. I think I'm going to build my own site in Unyson while I push for gallery update over the next few months ;)
Brizy is absolutely what I want for me and my clients. Keep up the great work!!

Can you give us a date when this function will be revised? I am really looking forward to it.

Hi,
I would like to come up with a clear answer, but unfortunately, we have no ETA for that.

Hello Alex, is there at least a guid or tutorial, for example, a fuel gallery can be easily integrated into Brizy Wordpress?

Hi,
you can use any Gallery plugin that works with shortcodes and add it on a Brizy page. Also, here is a video tutorial from our colleague Chris: https://youtu.be/O5E7vFpPxlI It's not what you're looking for, but it might give you a new idea on how to use an external source with Brizy.
