Is a license activation necessary on a production site?
If I use Brizy Pro (WP) in developing a site on my hosting and when completed I clone it to the production server, under what conditions is it necessary or not necessary to activate the Pro license on the production server? Under what conditions is it not even necessary to have Brizy, Pro or Free on the production site?
Cases:
- The production site will not be doing any building. (I guess I don't need the license. Do I even need to leave Brizy installed there?)
- The production site will be doing building that only needs the Free version's capabilities.
- The production site may do Pro level building.
- Subcases: I continue as the webmaster on the production site, so I am using the license.
- I turn over the production site to the client and am no longer the user.
-
That reinforces the question of: if no more building will be done, can and should Brizy be removed from the site before migration?

Hi Jack,
Even if you migrate the site from developing to production, you have to install the Brizy Free and Pro plugins and activate the Brizy license. Therefore you can deactivate the license from the developing site address and activate it for the production site address.
Thanks!

Is this true even if the site will not be changed? That is, no editing will be done on any pages or posts?

Yes, even if you don't make some modification in the production site, the Brizy Free and Pro plugins should be installed and activated because they need to add the entire structure, functional and styles of the pages you created with Brizy. Without Brizy plugins, all the Brizy pages will not work properly and will not have styles.
Thanks!
