Brizy on Multisite WP
Hi,
I want to host a few of my websites (about 5 of them on one single WP multisite instance on Amazon lightsail, is that possible without WaaS or is that required?
Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately, the Brizy Pro Lifetime license doesn't work on the Multisite network. For this type of network, we have the WaaS license that is designed for this type of need. https://www.brizy.io/waas-program/.

I believe this is really a bad practice and is very discouraging. I highly suggest that you allow people who want WP multisite to manage their own clients to be based on the number WP Users in the database. That is the true test of how many clients are using the DIY builder. I think any multisite Install can have up to 30 or so users/clients on their multisite. Waas sites will have dozens and hundreds, no other way around it.MULTISites are on the rise, and you are hurting your own sales. MOST people running multisite are not a Waas, they just have multiple clients. Don't exclude the majority to exclude the minority from misusing licenses.

Yes, what Sean said! I buy an unlimited license, but the ONLY way to use it is to be locked into another $400 annual subscription with WaaS? I already HAVE another WaaS solution through WPUltimo (which is excellent, if I might add).
Imagine my confusion and frustration when I go to activate, and ... nothing there? I try again... nothing. And then I hit the support forum and find THESE posts!?!?!
NO WHERE on your sales pages is there any clear mention of REQUIRING WAAS to run Brizy on a multisite. It's not even very clear on some of the blog posts, either. So, it's not really a $300 limited LTD, but rather $700 for your first year, and $400 ever year thereafter.
So, is there anything else I'm missing? Do you have something else hidden away in an obscure part of your blog that says I need to buy additional licenses to work with other plugins as well?

Hey guys,
There were some changes made since our last reply. The LTD licenses work on WordPress multi site for managing clients and having them on your agency multi site install. But you can't create a WaaS DIY service using the LTD license.
We have a different license for that that can be applied for here: https://www.brizy.io/waas-program/
Here are some Q&A very easily accessible from our main Support page, related to the WaaS license: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/categories/360001500932-WP-WaaS-Program
Conclusion, you can use the LTD licenses in a multi site environment, but for managing you clients and for custom client work, not for creating a WaaS service. That is a different business model for you and for us and requires a different license. It is in fact only 1 license in your account that is installed in the network admin and propagates to the other installs.
Anyway, I hope this helps in clearing up some of your questions.
I realise that this might not be ideal for you, but this is how it works with Brizy. We are here if you want to upgrade for example from a LTD to a WaaS license or even processing a full refund with no problem if you decide want it.
We are also offering a 30% discount for the WaaS if you want to keep both the LTD and WaaS.I wish you all the best.
Dimi,
Brizy co-founder.

Hello,
Sorry for asking the dumb question again.
So If I have 5 of my personal sites running on a multisite and i host some of client work using it brizy LTD that is fine?
I just cant turn it into a like a "squarespace"? and if i did I need a WaaS license at that point?
In short - i'm not a expert website builder but i wanted to use amazon lightsail and just that single instance to reduce my hosting cost for some really basic websites and hobby projects but still wanted the freedom of having it hosted in wordpress so i can add some plugins.
Thanks

Hi,
yes, that's right. You can use Brizy LTD on a multisite to create and customize your customers' websites if you do so as an individual. But if you want to create a service where you sell service packages or do what, for example. wpultimo provides then you need a Waas license.

Hello
Currently have a Birzy.io account on personal, what does LTD stand for?
I have just setup aws lightsail Wordpress multisite.
I tired to add my personal licence to this account but it says not supported.
I am happy to buy the lifetime licence but from reading the above its not 100% sure if I can add this license to a multisite Wordpress instance

Hi,
The personal license will not work on multisite but LTD and Studio plan works. So, you can purchase one of them and use it for managing clients and having them on your agency's multi-site install.

How is it today? I have the Stacksocial LTD with 100 WP-Sites. If I install WP-multisite (and I’m the owner of the sites), can I use my license for it? For example WP-multisite with 5 Websites, so I can use 5 of my 100 licenses for it?
