Strange Column Behaviour

I get the following issue when I open the site on a smaller screen such as landscape ipad

 

 

This is what it looks like when I am designing 

 

I can't send this to the client. I spent a day trying to fix this.

Please help. Thanks

  Hi, I already tried this but I am getting the same behaviour. Instead of scaling each column, it starts squeezing columns together from the right.

  This inconvenience can happen if your tablet has a high resolution and then it is positioned in the landscape mode, the screen width is more or equal to 991px. From this value starts the desktop mode. Therefore to fix this inconvenience, I can suggest adjusting the desktop mode and let a bit more space between elements.
