*URGENT* WP Brizy Builder vs Theme control
Hi there,
*Site in Maintenance mode as due to go live on Monday.
Wrestling with the templates ive built for post using Brizy and a theme in-built controls (Astra/Blocksy). What can I can control using a theme and what does Brizy override?
I built a home page in Brizy that works great and ive linked some images to post pages (which were also built in Brizy). I dont seem to be able to control virtually theme parameter and yet there are some things (like a text rollover state) where the theme colours are taking priority.
I created a brizy page with a side bar and added your sidebar element. Correctly, it shows the WP sidebar and the widgetsive placed in it however, the fonts, colours are all wrong. When I go to the theme customiser to change these I cant. It resets back to whatever default the theme has. eg. I change colours of vlue to my Brizy colours, save it and then when I refresh the colours (or fonts) have reverted back to its original state/colour etc.
Are there any videos/tutorials or details you can give me as a guide to what I can and cant do when I use a theme either on Brizy/theme side? ie/ how the relationship works between Brizy and a theme and how best to use this relationship when building a site? Im trying to fix some rollover colours that are appearing from the theme but the theme wont allow me to change.
Thanks

Hi Andrew,
I'm sorry but with Brizy isn't possible to change the theme options and settings. Also, isn't possible to edit with Brizy a page that is already created with the theme or another page builder. If you want to manage with styles in the Brizy pages, you have to do this using the Brizy option because the theme options aren't applied on the Brizy pages.
Regarding the sidebar - Unfortunately, it isn't possible to customize the Sidebar element in Brizy editor because elements (widgets) from the sidebar are provided from different sources (theme, plugins) and all of them are rendered by WordPress in its style based on its technology. When Brizy import the content from the sidebar, it takes it in such a way how the WordPress give it and it is impossible to change these styles. The content is only indirectly related to the document's main content. The technology of the Sidebar doesn't allow to customize it. You can see also on the Elementor, Beaver or Divi, they also don't allow to customize the content of the Sidebar.
Let me know if I can help you with something else!
Best regards,
Sandra

As Andrew suggested, a guide as to the SCOPE of Brizy/Pro control would be helpful. For example, the header and footer "elements" of Brizy aren't global settings but appear for that specific page. A features GUIDE would be helpful so that beginners don't make endless mistakes. I hope this already exists and someone can send a link to the "Guide." Thank you.

Hi,
Thank you for the suggestion. We will inform our managers regarding this feature request. Also, if you mentioned about Header and Footer and I want to help you with this. Yes, when you add these blocks on the page they are static for only that page but you can make them global and display them for all pages. See here, in this video more details about this. I only want to add that the header and footer will be displayed only in the Brizy pages.
For more other details you can check our documentation or YouTube channel.Best regards,
Sandra0
