How to make conditional menus work?
Hi,
Could you please let me know how to make the conditional menu work with Brizy?
My understanding is that Brizy intercepts the Wordpress menus.
The issue is that the menu cannot be modified dynamically anymore (with plugins like IF MENU for example) so we have to do it in Brizy.
Then this is a problem as we lose the Dynamic capabilities.
Any way to make conditional menus work with Brizy?
The minimum would be to be able to hide menu items for Non-logged users.
Thanks a lot

Hi,
at the moment Brizy can't work with these conditional plugins. Probably in the future we will make this compatibility but at the moment we do not have a solution. As a workaround, you can use the header that comes with the theme and play with such plugins like IF MENU. All you have to do is change the page template, and the header and footer will come from the theme.

Hi Alex,
With all the recent changes in Brizy I was wondering if you implemented conditional menu capabilities based on logged-in/out and user role?
I am in a big need to show a different menu to:
- Logged-out visitors
- Logged-in user => Different roles must have different menus!
I use the excellent "User Menus" plugin from "Code Atlantic" to achieve that when not using Brizy-Pro.
If this is still not available could you please let me know how to change the page template to have the header of the theme showing before the brizy page (I don't need the footer) like you told me 3 months ago?
Thanks a lot Alex

I found it:
https://brizycommunity.com/tutorial/headers-footers-part-1-wordpress-using-the-wordpress-theme/It would be great to have conditional menu capabilities direct in Brizy.
Thanks

Hi,
unfortunately, nothing has been done in this regard yet :/ The conditional menu capabilities are still on our to-do list.
