Setting Up WP integrated Blog posts
Hello, please help.
I want to set-up a super simple blog page using Brizy with WP, but it's extremely frustrating at this point.
First, I tried to design a blog page with the brizy editor, then go into the WP reading settings and make that my posts page. That simply reverts the brizy template back to a WP template.
Then I tried watching on of the tutorials and adding a category, but when I go to add that category into my menu, it doesn't show up in the WP "appearance"->"menus"->"categories" to add.
So then I tried doing a test blog post in WP, which only shows up when I revert my blog page to the WP builder instead of the Brizy template. I want the blog to match the rest of my website, but this is honestly just an insane headache. I really don't understand why. Please help.

Hi Savannah,
When you set a page edited with Brizy as a Posts page, WordPress will overwrite the styles added by Brizy and will add its own styles, therefore you see the WP template instead of Brizy styles. The Blog page is a something like a predefined page in WordPress and WordPress set for it one certain template. This page can't be edited directly in Pages with Brizy.
Therefore, if you want to edit the Posts page with Brizy, I suggest deactivating Brizy builder on the Posts page (from Pages) and creating a template for this page. In the display conditions, you should have "Include -> Blog/Posts Page". Inside the template, you have to add all the elements that you need (but I suggest using the Archive element because it will display all posts from all category).
Also, if you don't want to lose the page you created in Pages for Blog, I can also recommend removing the WP setting where you indicate that page as a Blog page.
Best regards,
Sandra
