Mailchimp Integration not passing lead information

    Hi Jimmy,

     

    If a user already subscribed to your Newsletter form of Mailchimp, it is already added in your database from Mailchimp. If the same user subscriber also to your Lead Magnet form, that is something like a specific form of the Newsletter, he will not be added again in the Mailchimp lead, because it is already added to the general Newsletter. The Mailchimp works with the email and it is the primary key in the database and doesn't allow to duplicate data.

    Sandra - I believe you do not understand the bug that I'm talking about. Right now the Mailchimp is completely unusable until this problem is fixed. I'm not new to Mailchimp. This is completely a Brizy problem.

    If someone signs up for a newsletter and enters their email only, then they are entered in the Mailchimp database.

    If they then come back to the website and fill out a different form that requires their Name, Email, phone number, and a Hidden Field that triggers a specific email automation, it should update that database entry to add the new details so the automation can be triggered.

    This is not happening with Brizy Cloud integration.

    If someone is already in the database, their records aren't being updated, so no automations can be triggered and none of the new database items are recorded. That is a huge issue.
