Styling issues
This is a multi-part issue.
1. Setting a complete custom style.
There have been several posts here with requests that we be able to add our own style. The answers have generally pointed to the functionality embedded in the box at the bottom of the sidebar that says "Add New". I believe that this represents a misunderstanding of the request. That box merely adds an additional style category to the Current Style as shown at the top of the sidebar. I know that what I have wanted to do, and I believe others have as well, is to add a completely new, full set of definitions that include the color palette and each of the text styles. In other words, the ability to create, without destroying any existing ones, a personal style on the same level as Overpass, or Magazine, or Grateful.
Part of the issue, I suspect, is semantic. The labeling in the sidebar uses the word "style" with two different meanings. One is that shown as "Current Style" and one is the particular assignment for a particular text characteristic, such as Heading 1 or Paragraph. I am asking, as I believe others have, for the ability to create, non-destructively, a new full set to replace the Current Style.
2. Hyperlinks
There is no setting for styles of hyperlinks. Nor do I see a way to create a style for hyperlinks (and in this case I am talking about the particular text characteristic, not a full Current Set replacement). I have gotten inconsistent results when I create hyperlinks. I have seen them show up in the editing window with an underline, but only display the underline on the live site when the cursor hovers over them. That leaves the site visitor unaware that there is a hyperlink there. This behavior is exhibited by the Ashen and Overpass styles, at least. For both of these, the text color is not affected by its being a hyperlink.
I think you need to add "hyperlink" to the list of selectable text formats, as are available from the T menu when text is selected. I assume this would add a text characteristic or style to the sidebar.
It would also be good if the program automatically recognizes the presence of a hyperlink and applied the formatting. I think it already recognizes it, since it adds the underline, although not consistently.
3. Simple question
This is on a different issue. I am confused by the use of three labels for your products. You are using Brizy Builder, Brizy Cloud, and Brizy WordPress Plugin. I understand that the Brizy Cloud is the free-standing page builder, essentially for static sites that works with your cloud hosting or our own, and that the Brizy WordPress Plugin is the WP analog in WP. What's the Brizy Builder?

Hi Jack,
1. "Add New" only refers to a new typographic style, so I don't think anyone from our team pointed someone to this functionality. The ability to add your OWN style on the same level as Overpass, or Magazine, or Grateful is already on our list of feature requests and will be added in the future. At the moment, you can play with the Brizy default style and customize it as your own style: https://jmp.sh/FGV3VyD
2. We have something in this regard on our roadmap: https://trello.com/c/abkAqzvg/102-text-link-color-hover-color We will think about how to implement this option in a logical way.
3. Actually, it is a single product and this is Brizy Builder. This is the tool you work with. But, we offer this builder in two different environments: WordPress as a plugin and Brizy Cloud (our cloud platform). The options and functionality are largely the same. I recommend you read this article: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360026950392-What-is-Brizy-Cloud-

How widespread and how permanent are the changes made to a Global Style? If I edit the Brizy default style, is it edited everywhere or only in that project?
Playing both ends against the middle: how to I bring an edited Global Style into another project? OR how do I recover the Global Style as you have defined it - in either the project in which it was changed or any other project?

Global Style refers to the whole site. All changes made to the current project will be active only for the current project. Another project, other styles. Please note that a project does not mean a page. A project is a whole site.

Thanks.
Sounds like the only way to restore the Global Style within a project is to copy/paste values for the settings from another project's unedited Global Style. Similarly, to use an edited Global Style in another project, have to copy/paste the settings from the edited one. Correct?
Being able to export or save a Global Style or import from another project sounds like a feature request.

that's right. At the moment the solution is to work with them manually - to reset them, to "copy" them in another project. We already have on our list of feature requests some things about Global Styles so we will definitely have improvements in this regard.

Alex, any progress on this?

Hi Stephen,
unfortunately, the feature to save or export Global Styles has not yet been created.

Just wanted to +1 the ability so create and save custom global typography styles and implement them both within an existing site and across sites.

Hi,
we will take this into account ;)

Hi,
It's been 2 years since the original post. Is the global styling copy to new site still on the roadmap after 2 years or is already done?

Hi Martin,
If you are referring to Brizy WordPress, we don't have this feature yet. For Brizy Cloud we have a feature planned for this year and its called "1 Click Install for Templates/Clone". This feature will allow you to clone a project including the global typography. Please listen to our CEO, Dimi talk about it here https://youtu.be/rtcIc_IYDp0?t=838

Kc George, is the clone feature actually going to happen? We've been waiting for that for years as well.

Hi Stephen,
Out of the 8 features promised above, the Membership Functionality, Collaboration Tool and Motion Effects and Animations have been already launched and the Multilanguage websites has been soft launched. Since almost half of the promises were kept in the first half of the year, I guess we can hope that the rest of the promises will also be kept.
