    Hi Sherif,

Thank you for the message. Could we please discuss in private regarding this problem? We will need the WP and maybe the FTP credentials and one of our developers will check the database of the site. Therefore I will create an internal ticket on this subject. Could you please, indicate there the WP credentials?

    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards,

    Sandra

    We have the same Problem.
Brizy produces extremely huge _postmeta tables (127Mb of 137Mb total DB size) - for what ever reason.
Therefore our site is getting extremely slow for a ratzer slim project. A caching plugin is mandatory of corse but not the solution for this problem.
    How can we deactivate that?

    Regards Leonhard

    Hi Leonhard,

Over a period of time, as blog posts are updated, created, or deleted, the _postmeta table can become large and it can impact the website performance. This is a common problem with WordPress websites.

Please consider these ideas to reduce the size of the _postmeta table. Before attempting any of these ideas, please take a full backup of your website and ensure you are able to restore your website from the backup.

    1. Install WP Optimize and under the Database tab, against the option Optimize database tables, click on Run Optimization https://jmp.sh/TuOZ1sIe This may reduce the size of the _postmeta table by 20-30 MB.
    2. If you are familiar with databases and SQL, you could also consider the procedure in this article. Please ignore this option if you do not have some experience with SQL. https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/wordpress/cleaning-up-old-post-meta-data-in-wordpress/
