Video doesn't play

WP Pro - I'm having an issue with my video background in my header. First it played when I loaded the page, but some days ago it suddenly stopped. In Chrome at least. It still plays in Explorer and in the Brizy editor. I tried with other videos, and experienced the same problem.

Why doesn't it play and what can I do about it?

  Hi Brita,

  Unfortunately, I didn't find the video set on the background on the homepage. I checked the all page the all source code of the page and I didn't find it. Could you please indicate on what page and on what has added the video in the background?

  Also, I noticed that the Brizy Pro plugin is deactivated, could you please activate it again?

  The video is on the frontpage in the header. Because it is not working, I don’t have videos on any other pages right now. But I checked with videos on other pages and they had the same issue (not playing).

  The Brizy Pro plugin is not deactivated. (I checked.) I don’t know why you think it is. It is also updated to the latest version. Actually the video worked in Chrome before I updated the Brizy plugins, but I’m not sure whether it is the problem or not. I did a lot of other stuff too before I noticed the problem.

  Thank you all these details. Yes, now I see that the Brizy Pro is activated and could check the site and this problem.

  Is the video that you add in the background public? To display a YouTube video (in the Video element and in the Background) it should be set as public because overwise YouTube will not allow to display it to a public audience to protect you and your videos.

  I checked your channel from where I found is the video and found that this channel has no video https://jumpshare.com/v/sBO6lTYuCJMy9QlSALmA, therefore I make the conclusion that the video you added in the background isn't public. Could you please set this video as public and try again to add it in the background?

  Sorry, nice try, since my videos were hidden in YouTube ... but that's not it.
  I made two of my videos public, but it still didn't work. Then I switched the url to a video of a TED talk. Also public. And it still wouldn't play.
  Earliere it played even though my videos were hidden in YouTube.
