Upload file field in form v 2: change error messages and Choose File text into a different language

Hi there,

is there a way to change the "Choose file" text and error messages in the Upload file field in the form v2 into a different language? I'm working with a multi-lingual site with a default/primary language in Italian. I've changed the success and error messages for the send button.

Minor point, why does the text colour for upload file darker than the rest even if I applied the same colour for all of them?

  Hi Swee,

  Yes, at the moment is a bit difficult to change or translate the "Choose file" string from the Brizy Form, but we had created a feature request for our team and we will strive to release it as soon as possible.

  Yes, the text colour of the "Choose file" is a bit darker and we will improve also this aspect. Now, to fix this aspect, you can set a custom CSS for that button and change the colour.

  Thank you for the update re Choose File. What about the upload file field error messages? Can those be changed into a foreign language, .for example Italian? 

  I'm launching a client site in Italian with the Brizy form with an upload file field. It would be great if there was a way to change the error messages.

  Unfortunately, at the moment isn't possible to edit or translate the error message when is uploaded a file with higher file size, but I updated the feature request created earlier and added this detail too!

  Hi,

  I'm sorry but at the moment it isn't possible to translate the "Choose file" words. In this period we were busy with other features, improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, we don't have an ETA for this feature request and can't promise that it will be released soon, as we already planed other features and improvements for the next period.
