How to pull in a Wordpress widget
Hello there,
I'm trying to call in a widget, in order to call a single pod item. Since there is no option to add widgets in the page builder, I followed this tutorial: https://seothemes.com/how-to-display-widget-areas-with-a-shortcode/.
This is my widget:

When I call the widget

The site breaks "There has been a critical error on your website."
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a workaround?

Hello Matthias!
Thanks for the message and for the update.
I assume it was a conflict with the widget ID. But, this error: "There has been a critical error on your website." is a general WordPress error. It can be caused by the widget itself or by the plugin. I'm interested in what errors were displayed in the console when the page broke?

Hello Natalia.
Not sure what caused it in the first place, since I was simply making use of the built-in Wordpress functionalities.
I didn't look in the console when it broke.
However, by using this excellent plugin, people don't need to modify their functions.php, which seems quite a good solution to me.
