Stop my theme taking over the Brizy build
Hi
I've built 3 pages including home page, all with global headers and footers within Brizy plugin and loved it as newby I have found Brizy a fantastic platform.
Im having a few issues with the pages they keep displaying the old theme layout and seem to be able to ignore all Brizy build. I have deleted all of the original theme pages, with no aval. I have also used a Ajax search plugin which seems to grab the original theme layout and the Brizy layout and mash the 2 together layouts together on the results page.
How can I stop this original theme from high jacking my work in Brizy :)
Theme installed - WP Auto Listings
All page attributes are set to Brizy default
Any help or pointers gratefully received.
Thanks Sean

Hi Sean,
We do not use this theme and we do not know what is happening there. If you don't use theme options and your whole site is created with Brizy then why not change the theme? You can install our Brizy Starter theme which is very clean and has no additional options.

Hello, I'm having the same issue. I've activated Brizy starter theme but I still cannot get my Brizy builder settings to publish to my WordPress site. It looks beautiful in the Brizy builder, but like an ugly blank theme everywhere else.
Any help is so appreciated! Thanks so much!

Hi Rachel,
can you please confirm you have this issue with the latest Brizy version - Free 2.0.5 and PRO 2.0.2? Also, do you have the same problem if you disable all your external plugins? Please send a screenshot of the editor page and one of the frontend page so we can see the problem. Thanks.

Hi,
did you make changes to permalinks? It's strange that you have index.php here: https://jmp.sh/4PMdq5R

I did not make any changes to the permalinks. When I reset that permalink to remove the "index.php", nothing changes.
Could there be anything else? Thank you.

Hi,
sorry for the stupid question, but do you press "Update" after each change? We don't have an autosave, so I have to check this. Also, what appears when you press the preview button: https://jmp.sh/GCMCKTl ?
btw: Could you send us a screen recorder with all the actions so we can see the problem?

Hi Alex,
I understand the questions are necessary for troubleshooting.
I do press update after each change. When I click preview, it looks beautiful just how I want it.
This issue began when I, in error, messed with the WordPress editor in between making changes with the page builder. Caches have been cleared, although I'm not sure if we have caches through our site server. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin, deleting and restarting the page.
I will try to get a screen recorder ready to share. Thanks.

Hello again Alex,
Thank you so much for your time with this. I've got it working now. I will definitely give Brizy a five star rating and recommend it to others.
Thanks again.

Hi Rachel,
I'm glad to hear that. May I know what the problem was?

I'm embarrassed to say it was really quite silly. I'll leave the comment so if anyone else does this in the future...
I did not have the page set to load to my homepage, so it was trying to load posts... of which I had none.
Thanks again.

No problem at all. Being in a hurry with other things you can forget about this setting. Thank you for your comment ;)
