Unclassified cookies
Hi,
According to our cookie scan report, our lawyers discovered a few unclassifield cookies, as:
brz-LastVisit
brz-pagesViews
brz-pagesViewsInSessionTimeLine
brz-sessions
To be able to start our campaigns, we have to provide them the following details of the above cookies:
- function and goals
- period of time (how long they collect datas)
- range of the recorded dates
As I marketer, I guess these cookies are from Analytics but could you answer me the details or send some helpful link where I can collect the answers? We would love to start our campaigns asap :)
Bests,
Istvan

Hey guys,
sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
brz-LastVisit, brz-pagesViews, brz-pagesViewsInSessionTimeLine, brz-sessions refers to pop-ups. These are created when you use a pop-up and we need this to track the user and the pop-up will work based on that fact. We do not store this information on our servers because we simply do not need it. They are active as long as you use pop-ups in the project and will disappear when you delete that pop-up from the project.
To summarize:
- function and goals: to track the user and the pop-up will work based on that fact
- period of time (how long they collect datas): as long as you use pop-ups in your project
- range of the recorded dates: since you created a pop-up until you delete it.
Hope this helps.0 -
Hello,
my cookie scan report says that I have (only) these cookies running on my site brz-LastVisit, brz-pagesViews, brz-pagesViewsInSessionTimeLine, brz-sessions. But I have not placed any pop-ups with brizy on my site... why are the cookies running anyways?
Except now that I saw that Brizy uses these cookies, I need to place a cookie disclaimer pop-up.

Hi,
that shouldn't happen. Are you sure you don't have a pop-up? At any button maybe? Can you send us a link to the site?

Ok, thanks you, that's interesting.
I just ran a cookie screening on cookiebot.com and this was the result. Do you have an idea how that is possible?

Hi,
it seems that not all platforms detect them. However, after a discussion with the developers, it turned out that cookies are present regardless of whether pop-up is used or not. At the moment, Brizy frontend cannot detect if pop-ups are used or not, which is why these cookies are always present. We have added this to our to-do list and we will think about how to avoid this.
