    Hey Andy,

    Thanks for your post.

    1. Well, reveal animations, and what someone feels is flat is not what everyone likes or feels. That is why we decided as a default to leave it without any animations and let users that want them to add them.

You can do entrance animations from the More Settings panel here in the right sidebar:

As for the hover animations, you create that your self as well from the elements that have hover styling, you set a value/img/color on the regular option, and if you set a hover value, that will be the hover state.

    2. as for the dynamic part you'll have to create the filters and the dynamic part your self using the Brizy PRO templating features.

Here is the perfect example. Our website is 100% Brizy made, and on our Layouts page https://www.brizy.io/blog/category/layouts/ you can see filters, and hover animations and it's all made with the Brizy Dynamic templating feature and blog posts.

Here is how you'll use the dynamic content to create a blog and articles, these are the basics that you need to learn to create a filter like we did: https://youtu.be/cWJEetL4f-s

For filters if you don't want to use the dynamic content and maybe use a gallery element, you can add tags on images:

    Hope this helps.

    This is great news!

So my final issue is regarding wha can be achieved 'creatively' either now or near future.

At the moment it seems like a really easy, visually competent flat site builder. Would that be accurate? Your next step will be ecommerce as thats big for pro web builders and the focus on building cloud blogging but the really cool stuff creatively (the visual tricks) will be a while away? So ill either have to use WP addons which I struggle to often make work properly on dedicated themes or wait to see if you eventually add some stuff like it in Brizy?

Jus in case ive missed something...

Can you tell me if the theme (WP or Cloud) is able to create dynamic portfolios and animations like here...\http://theme.pixflow.net/massive-dynamic/general/portfolio-with-sidebar-2/

Im really keen to be able to filter my work in a dynamic (animated) portfolio that allows me to be able to create a VIDEO portfolio and Photography portfolio that links to a template layout (text, images and video on left and maybe a side bar of instagram images, search and links/adverting on right. Can this be done in WP and will it become avail eventually in Brizy in 'near' future - less than a year

    and the animations here...

    https://elementor.com/features/design/

In WP is there Slider Revolution integration or something similar of your own

Im just seeing how dynamic I can get this visually as im a creative. I wont need everything but it would be good to know how far it can be pushed visually, dynamically compared to the competition.

Not sure what you mean by flat, I think the tools already there give you the power to do entrance animations when the page loads, and certain hover effects. Not sure what you want exactly to not be "flat" whatever that means.

No plans for things that will make the page not "flat". We have some ideas to put an animation module in, but that is further down the line, not a priority right now.

You can use the dynamic content in brizy to create dynamic portfolios.

Here is video explaining how to create dynamic templates and blog posts, this is the basics for what you need: https://youtu.be/cWJEetL4f-s

The example page Elementor, only one maybe two things on that page we currently don't have in Brizy. Possible they will be in the next few months, we'll see.

You see how far it can be pushed in two ways: 1 by using it and 2 by being creative (which in my opinion doesn't necessarily mean things needs to move on the page)

    Cheers.

I also bought brizy since i see a lot of potential, but at the moment I have to say that i feel quite limited by the possibilities brizy offers. I am trying to recreate this elementor template with no luck at all. Main challenges being the header and the animated, multi layer elements that move according to page scrolling.

Of course we can argue that such things are not everyones desire - but let's face it, if you try to make an page appealing to the younger generations, the page has to feel alive to grab their attention. Therefor animations and page interactions will play a massive role in creative webdesign in the future.

I hope brizy can integrate necessary wigets and tools in order to allow a more or less easy creation of such an page as linked above.

    Hi,

The link you sent is an Elementor template but it seems to be created with the elements added and customized by the theme authors. It is not a default Elementor effect. In the future, we will also offer the possibility for developers to expand the builder and add new options and elements, but at the moment this is not possible. We also have more animation effects on the list. It's just a matter of time.
