Yoast pulling excerpts from original editor not Brizy

Hey can you help me out with Yoast and Brizy Pro together? I switch the meta description in Yoast to take the first excerpt of the website, but the issue is that it's taking from the default template and not Brizy Template so the Meta is grabbing useless info what am I doing wrong here?  I am going to just manually update it at this time, but this shouldn't be how it works?

  I'm not sure I'm getting this right. You are using a Template for blog posts ? a Brizy Template. And you set Yoast to get the meta from the first blog post. 

  How do you define the excerpt in the Brizy Template ? isn't it dynamic from WordPress ? 

  Please walk me through what you have there, maybe share some screens.

  We need for the support to happen here in order to bring value to the users that might search for the same issue. 

  From what I understand there is no problem here, it is normal for Yoast to get the excerpt from the Excerpt field from the first blog post. It can't actually take it from Brizy. Brizy only displays excerpts that come from WordPress using the dynamic content we've built in.
