Linking Brizy Cloud site to custom domain
Hey Brizy Team!
I wanted to inform you that there are 2 how-to's that have different info:
- Video: https://youtu.be/zyxyrlEyD3g?t=233
- says to set A entry Host to "customdomain.com"
- Article: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360041764052-Custom-domain-A-Record-Redirect-
- says to set A entry Host to "@"
This was really confusing for me but in the end, "@" works for me (are "customdomain.com" and "@" the same thing?)
The main reason I was having trouble though was because I had existing entries for an "A" entry and already had a cname entry for "www."
I got on support with GoDaddy and was told to edit the existing entries instead of creating new ones. This may sound basic but for me, it's something I totally overlooked. So it might be helpful to add that for future non-techy guys like me.
Hope this is helpful guys!

Hi Joseph,
Both methods are correct but we have a temporary problem with Brizy cloud and now you can only use @ at hostname. We will fix this soon and you will be able to use both: custom domain and @. Sorry for the created inconvenience.
