Menu item not opening in new tab

Hi there!

I have just realised that a menu item is not working the way it should.

It is a custom link pointing to an external resource that I want to open in a new tab. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work on Brizy while on the basic WordPress theme it works without a problem.

Any help?

  Hello Juan, thank you for contacting us.

  That is weird, because on my end it works. I have the latest versions of both and free and PRO versions of Brizy.

  Hi Bogdan,

   

  Unfortunately your video recording link is broken. Anyhow I guess you must be right but my WordPress site doesn0t work as expected.

   

  I think I can solve it with a different approach although I would like to try first. I have deactivated all the plugins (not that many) and the problem persists. Both Brizy are updated to the latest.

  I see the video now. And yes, it is exactly what I'm doing with no luck. It is a secondary menu so I tried on the main menu with same results.

  I have tried with and without icon. No luck.

  It is something related to Brizy. Do you recommend reinstalling both plugins? Will I lose the page I am building?

  By checking the code I can see that the link uses data-brz-link-type="external". But for any reason it doesn't work...

  maybe the theme adds some code that prevents it, have you tried switching the theme for a bit to something Wprdpress default, like Twenty 20?

  Yes, I have tried. By selecting WordPress default theme you can see the menu works the right way. 

  It's pretty weird because I have changed the code by editing it and the code remains the same.

  This is weird. I have just deleted the menu item and rebuild it from scratch. Now it works!
