    Hi John,

    Thanks for your involvement.

    We mentioned this here: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/360057819612-CloudFlare-is-acting-up-with-Brizy-Cloud-again but it's a good idea to create a separate post for this small detail.

    @John Zoetebier thanks for the tip though I'm still having trouble.

    The only way I can get Brizy Cloud to work with Cloudflare is if I remove the proxy from both the A record and the CNAME. However isn't that pointless if the idea is to go via Cloudflare to disguise the IP?

    Have I got this wrong...is there another way?

    The use case I have is where CNAME points to a different IP address than the A record of my main website.

    For example:

    A record: my.domain => IP address my.domain

    CNAME: demo1.my.domain =>IP address Brizy website

    The CNAME is just an alias for the Brizy web server and it is not proxied by CloudFlare.

    Unfortunately, this is very troublesome when you want to use Cloudflare's firewall. My site is irrelevant for people outside of India, so I had set up a firewall to block non-Indian traffic. But it doesn't work if the proxy is disabled. And if it is enabled, then brizy doesn't work!

    Hi,

    at the moment I don't have a working workaround for you. You will soon be able to use the Cloudflare proxy with Brizy (it's on the to-do list) but at the moment this does not work.

    Hi, Is there any progress with this? Can we use cloudflare proxy now with brizy cloud?

    Hi Frangiskos

    By default Cloudflare DNS enables Proxy for your domains. If proxy is enabled for your domain, your domain record will look like this.

    Please disable Proxy for your domain, and then you can use Cloudflare with Brizy Cloud. If you disable Proxy, your domain record will look like this

    You can disable Proxy in the DNS section of your Cloudflare account
