Oh, and I had to log back in to Wordpress. Maybe my session timed out and something got saved in Brizy but not Wordpress?

    Hi,

now you can't edit any page or just the one where you edited Global Section? Do you have any error messages?

btw: please make sure you have the latest Brizy versions - Free 1.0.123 and PRO 0.0.34

Sorry, I don't have the error message when it asked me to reload the page and it lost my changes.

The entire page cannot be edited via Brizy any longer. I abandoned that page and re-created it. Which wasn't that hard because I'd already figured out how to get it set up the way I wanted.

My only concern at this point is that other people don't get caught be the same issue, which I believe was caused by my WordPress session timing out. Maybe try deleting your WordPress session cookie (if that's how this works) to reproduce the issue, and see how Brizy behaves?

    Hi,

this is something that happens particularly to you. It will be fairer to inspect the problem on your site. I cannot test all possible variants trying to reproduce the problem.

Is the page that cannot be edited still on your site? If so, please send us your login details in a private request. This way we will check why the page cannot be edited and this can lead to the main cause.

That's ok, I've re-created the page and moved on.

I did get what might have been the same error, although this time it did not disconnect the page from Wordpress. The error was, "This page needs a refresh. You've probably updated this page (or another page) in a different tab or browser."

I didn't realize that editing a different page in another tab would be a problem, I won't do that any more :)

oh yes, you can edit with Brizy just one page at a time. You cannot have multiple pages open in different tabs and edit them. They must be edited one by one. This is one of the "unwritten" rules for using Brizy :)
