Custom design on blog listing and posts
Hello, me again ;)
So this time I have questions concerning templates on WP.
First my video question: https://reccloud.com/pl/u/itg0zfl
For people who will not click on it.. question is.. on the listing of posts, how do I make them display all the posts from selected category -1. I would like the new post to be displayed in other manner than the rest odf them. In a matter of fact it would be great to choose both -1 (etc.) or just be able to choose the one we want to feature by ID for example. Combining both we could not only choose to feature the one we want but if it's let's say second on the list, after newest one, just cut it out of the catalogue with small thumbs to avoid duplicates.
Second question is.. when I will make blog post template so let's say I will put there header, footer and content area. What will happen If I will use brizy to create the post content? Maybe nothing since I have not tried it yet but in your tutorial you said only about default editors and that the content will take the styling (font ent). But if I would like to carve every post by myself in brizy? How then blog post template will behave? Maybe you have some tips on how to do this properly? :)

Hey,
1. Right now the posts elements don't communicate with one another. You can achieve different post structures from the design point of view exactly like you did it on the video with 2 Posts elements but unfortunately you'll get duplicate posts right now because the elements don't communicate with one another yet.
The only way to bypass that manually would be to display one category in a Posts element and another category in another post and if there are no intersection between the posts then you will not get duplicates on the page.
Again, we still have some improvements on the list for the dynamic content and this is on the list. We'll address this in a future update.
2. If you are using the dynamic content and templates , that works with the WordPress content. So you create and apply a template on a category/post, etc and you input the content in WordPress, you don't create it with Brizy. If you choose to Edit with Brizy and create the post that way, the template will not be applied on that post because it doesn't make too much sense since you have 100% control in Brizy to create the post exactly the way you want.
The idea with dynamic content is to input the content in WordPress and display it in a template made with brizy. if you choose to go with brizy for a post, That is not dynamic content, but Brizy. You can use the dynamic elements like Post title or Excerpt even if you create a post with Brizy but those still need to be added in the post in WordPress.
Hope this makes sense.

Make sense ok. So another question pack. When I will use the blog elements from #kit1 I can set the author image based on wordpress. How do I force similar behavior on tags, comments counter etc.? Well.. this rise another question. How to put comments there and format them properly?
It's all beautiful and I really appreciate the design work but how to make all this work for me?
