Migrating site from cloud to wordpress
Hi,
I am about to build a site and at this time don't need Wordpress's blog feature so I am thinking about building the site in Brizy Cloud. However, in the future, if I need to add a blog, can I move/migrate a Brizy Cloud site to a wordpress host and use the pro plugin?
Also, for email - can my site on Brizy Cloud have mydomain.com email addresses? If not, how do I get mydomain.com email addresses set up to work with my Brizy Cloud hosted site?
Thanks!

Hey,
If you don't need a blog right now Brizy Cloud is perfect for you. In the (near) future we'll have a way to move pages and blocks from Cloud to WordPress or the other way around by connecting your Brizy account and syncing blocks or layouts.
We also plan to add blog functionality to Brizy Cloud, so you might not need to move to WordPress in the end.
Regarding your email, you can't set that up on our side, if you just purchased a domain, what you can do is set is up as a gmail account. Here is how to do it: https://www.melyssagriffin.com/use-gmail-custom-domain/
All our company emails are set up as custom gmail addresses and I'd recommend that to anyone. It's the best $5 every spend, easy login, no problems ever.
Hope this helps.

Hi Dimi, good to hear about the upcoming blog plans.
So for the emails I'd have to use G-Suite? I usually use aliases in gmail which is free.

I can only use G-Suite, not gmail?

Not sure how G-Suit works, but what I'm saying is not free, it's $5 per month I think/ if you want to do it for free you will not be able to with any service. I think this is money well spent if you ask me, but it is your call after all.
Cheers.

Hi, Dimi.
Do you have an estimate as to how long it will take before the "Cloud to Wordpress" option is possible? I, too, was considering building a site in Brizy Cloud, but will need to move it to WP.
Thanks,
Randall

We are in alpha right now testing it, beta next in the following weeks I think and then release for everyone . There are some important things that need to come together in the builder. Nearly there.
Thanks for your patience.

I was just now looking to see if I can move a page from Cloud to WordPress. I see that 18 days ago it was in alpha, with beta in the next weeks.
It is the "next weeks" now, so is there any update on this? Any chance I could beta test it for you if that's possible? It's just one simple landing page, but it would save me a lot of time if there is any option.
Thanks!

Hi Brizy Team,
First, Thanks for the email form function (GREAT JOB!) regarding the transfer to Wordpress, I would like to stay updated as well. I want to migrate a site from cloud to Wordpress. The customer is requesting Blog Functionality.

Hi Juan,
Yes, our developers are working on the Import/Export functionality and it is in the "Progress" list https://trello.com/c/nnZ8zDzX/40-brizy-wordpress-plugin-link-import-export-functionality
We strive to release it as soon as possible in the next updates. I can't exactly when we will release it but I can say that we are near to launch it.
Thanks!

Hi Brizy Team,
When will the migrate feature to Wordpress be completed? I'm not expecting an exact date, but a range or a month will be good. I hope you can get it up and running soon, as I will need to migrate the website to Wordpress. Thanks for your hard work on Brizy and making it the best editor out there!
Cheers,
Cole.

Hi, Niraj,
Yes, this feature is already done but it isn't published yet and therefore at the moment isn't possible to import/export via Brizy account. We will add it in the next Cloud update.
Thanks!

Hi Niraj,
Perfect timing, was just looking for just this feature. When is the next Cloud update expected?

Hi,
At the moment we can't say exactly when we will release the next Cloud update that will contain the Import/Export functionality but we strive to launch it as soon as possible. We have to make some other tests and make sure that all feature and options we will add are working fine.
Keep an eye on our Brizy Community. There we place all hot news regarding Brizy builder.

Any update on this?

Hi,
Yes, we already released this feature. Now, you can save a block or the entire page, connect with your Brizy account and then use the block or the page in the Cloud project, if you saved them in the WP site, or in the WP site if you saved them in the Cloud project. See here.
Best regards,

How do you reconnect an account of you skipped it initially? The option on the right sidebar during the save block feature is missing once you skip it...

Hi, Java,
In this video, you can see how to connect the WordPress site with the Brizy account and how to sync blocks and layout between Brizy Cloud and Brizy pages from WordPress sites.
If you can't access this feature, please make sure you have the latest versions of Brizy Free 2.0.13 and Brizy Pro 2.0.6. Also, please make sure that the WhiteLabel option is deactivated.
Thanks!

Hi Sandra,
I only noticed I can only sync blocks but not the whole page at once. Any way to sync the whole page (which contains multiple blocks) without saving each block manually? Thanks

Hi,
Yes, it is possible to save the entire page and then sync it to the Brizy Cloud or vice-versa (from Cloud to WordPress). For this, you have the Save the entire page. This option you can find here. After this, the saved page (layout) you would be able to see here. After this, on the sync, the saved layouts, as well as saved blocks, will be synced to the Cloud (or WordPress).
For more details about this option, you can find it here.
Best regards,

Great! Thanks Sandra.
