Contact Form V2 / sender email address
How can we get the user's email address, when they fill out the contact form to be at least the reply-to address, so that when they send a message, we can just hit reply? Currently it's very cumbersome to reply to a user.
thank you.

Hi,
unfortunately, you can't do that right now. We already have it on our list of feature requests, so it will probably be added in the future.

Thank you for the reply.
That would be a very important feature!
thank you.

So, if I am understanding this correctly... A person uses a form and enters an email address on the form. At this time we cannot use that information in the form backend? For example, setting the reply-to field to that of the email on the form submission?

Hi Patrick,
yes, you are right. You cannot dynamically complete this field. We work on it. Please have a little patience.

This is crazy. That field can't be set up to pull in a dynamic email address from the form?

Hi Mike,
Guess what my answer will be :).

Hi, Alex. This has been on here for two months and my clients are complaining about this very basic functionality not working as should be expected. What is the timeframe for this getting taken care of?

Hi Mike,
It is on the list but unfortunately, we do not have an ETA for this feature. I agree that it is a basic functionality, like many others, but there is a large workload, so patience is needed. I recommend you to follow our Youtube channel where you will see that we are working hard on many things: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU-2U0NZ5vx_5jzOO0F0KgQ/videos

I assume this still doesn't work? A year seems like a surprisingly long timeline to ask your end-users for patience on something this easy to implement. Especially when you are already updating the form functionality and rebuilding the code from scratch.

Hi,
thank you for your message. We will try to speed things up.

Is this still not completed?
Anyone using Postmark for emails absolutely has to use the websites assigned email address as the Sender for it not to bounce at Postmark.
We absolutely need to be able to put the Customer Email dynamically into the Reply to Field automatically.
If this hasn't been done after a year, please could you give us an ETA, this is absolutely basic stuff and is really letting down an otherwise great product.

Hi Christopher,
I would like to give you a positive answer but unfortunately, we do not have an ETA for this feature :/

Hey.. I'm getting frustated...
My clients blame me on poor work because of this simple feature.. that has never been an issue on any other systems i've used before..I loved Brizy so far.. but now i guess i'm getting second thoughts...
How is it possible that this is not in a higher place on your priority list???
It is 100% hurting us, service providers aswell end users ..
1 year is way too long period to get this solved.. Please fix this asap!
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm sorry to hear that. We will strive to prioritize this.

I've just run in to this issue myself when setting up a clients website. Any timeframe for when this will be resolved?

Regarding what you said, we will try to implement this as soon as possible. Sorry for the waiting and thank you for the understanding! If you have any other questions or problems, please feel free to ask! We will be happy to help!
Have a nice day and best regards,

Hi Filipe
We have built this feature into Brizy 2.4.0 version. This version is likely to be released sometime this month.

That's a really important improvement, looking forward to being able to actually use the Forms part of Brizy at last.
