Disable Revision
Hello,
I am using brizy on WP multisite on the localhost.
I have disabled WordPress post revision by using:
define("WP_POST_REVISIONS", false);
in the wp-config.php file.
But Whenever I make a change in page via brizy builder, that post has a revision, could you tell me how to disable this revision? it's too much load for my server.
And one other help I need:
I tried using add_filter( 'brizy_content', .....
This is working fine for front end page, but when you edit the page, it's not using this filter, I tried more and found that you are storing page builder editing markup separately in postmeta table with meta key of "brizy" which is serialized and based 64 encoded. could you tell me any way to replace data on the fly just like "the_content" or "brizy_content" filter but for brizy editing page, it's crucial for my project. I tried using get_post_metadata hook but it's breaking page since meta value is returning NULL.
Thanks.

Hi,
developers must be involved here. I have created a ticket for you where we will discuss the details and will create an internal issue for inspection.

I am also experiencing a revision issue. I am using WordPress Brizy Pro plugin. I am editing pages for about 30 minutes and have well over 100 revisions (auto saves). I only updated (manual saves) the page 4 times. I tried limiting the revisions by editing the wp-config.php with
define("WP_POST_REVISIONS", 3);
This edit did nothing to limit pages/posts made with Brizy.
It appears Brizy has another method of saving the revisions. The revisions are bloating my database. I do not want to manually delete the entries in the postmeta table for fear of losing my data, nor should I have to clean-up the database once I have finished editing a page.

Hey Michael,
this has been fixed and will be included in one of the next updates.

Thank you, Alex. This will help in keeping the database optimized.

Hi,
The best Plugin which will help you with this is "Perfmatters".Jasper

I posted the above 2 months ago and it looks like something was corrected, but now with Brizy Pro 2.0.1 Database revisions are being created to the point where the page can't load. I then have to optimize/clean/delete revisions just to work on a page. Is there anyway to just disable or put a hard limit on the revisions? Having 167 revisions on 1 page on the same day it is created and then having it crash until I deleted the revisions is crazy and wastes time. Of those 167, maybe a dozen were from me doing manual Updates, the rest is autosaves? I have a 57 page Brizy website that will be going live soon. I am concerned that I will have to babysit this Brizy website after it's live and with the client. Below is just a screenshot showing the revision totals. It was over 86 MB in revisions for 2 weeks! This will only get worse once Posts are added weekly.

Hi,
Is this problem resolved?
My post template keeps on diverting back to a revision that I don't want!

Hi,
it seems that you have a different problem than the one described in this post. Does the post automatically revert to an earlier version?

Alex,
Have the devs been able to address this issue? Myself and others are still having to clean the database to continue working on pages.

Hi,
sorry for not getting back to you sooner. From what I know some optimizations have been made in this regard. Can you please confirm you have this issue with the latest Brizy version - Free 2.1.0 and PRO 2.1.0?

Yes, still have this issue. An example, one sentence in a text field generates 10 revisions. Using Free 2.1.5 & Pro 2.1.3. I have to clean/optimize the database often or it becomes sluggish or locks up the page builder.

Still having this issue. An example, one sentence in a text field generates 10 revisions. Using WordPress Brizy 2.2.8 & Brizy Pro 2.2.5. I have to clean/optimize the database often or it becomes sluggish or locks up the page builder. The ticket was closed, but the issue remains.
