Brizy WP Plugin causing website critical error and menu CSS problems
Twofold issue:
My WP website was running the plugin 0.0.31 version. Tried to update to brizy WP Plugin to version 0.0.39 but the updates kept failing.
I deactivated brizy and brizy pro. I then activated brizy but when I try and activate pro I get this message - "There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions."
The emailed instructions tell me this:
Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Brizy.
When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
WordPress version 5.3.2
Current theme: BlankSlate (version 2019.1)
Current plugin: Brizy (version 1.0.122)
PHP version 7.2.22-1+ubuntu16.04.1+deb.sury.org+1

When I go through the WP dashboard to edit a page with brizy the header element my site is using is no longer available [I have 6 footers now instead of 7] and the menu on my website has lost its CSS and is messed up.
I am scheduled to take this client site live in a few days so I need your help ASAP!
Thank you.

OK, no need to answer. I deleted the brizy pro plugin and then uploaded the latest one and everything is working as it was before. :)

Hi,
I'm glad you found the solution.
Actually, that was what you had to do. To re-install the Brizy PRO plugin.

Hi there, I'm actually having the exact same problem, however after deleting and reinstalling the Pro plugin I still get the same error. See https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/72714?key=8c4db5d2331eea4bff3d9438d400aea2 please advice!

I asked my host and this is what we found out:
Site had Free 1.0.124 and Pro 0.0.41
- Enabled Free - Working Fine
- Enabled Pro - Got the Fatal Error
- Deactivated both
- Rolled back Free to 1.0.123
- Enabled Free - Working Fine
- Enabled Pro - Working Fine
So it appears there is a conflict between the Brizy versions presently on the site and we would recommend reaching out to the Brizy development team for a solution.

Hi Robert,
did you delete the Brizy from the dashboard? Try to delete manually the Brizy folders via FTP and then re-install the plugins on your dashboard. A manual delete should fix the problem.
