ssl and non www

I set up the website www.identifywhatmatters.com as instructed over 48 hours ago and I set up a 301 redirect in Godaddy fo the non-www version

 

I do not have a secure lock and the non www version goes to a warning page that it's being redirected

How do I fix these issues and do I have to use the www when setting up a site cname? I'd rather redirect the www version.

  Hi Wes,

  did you add an A record? If not, you need to add one and remove all the redirects.

  What you need to do is to have green color on the "Custom Domain" section: one for cname record and one for A record. If you do not have the A record option try a hard refresh on the page.
