Select Questions on Forms

When i've tried building a form in the Brizy plugin, if i use the Select Question type, it duplicates my question label. You have the question label itself and then in the answer section you also have the question label again. I've removed the placeholder text and this has no effect.

Surely this shouldn't be the case?

Is this a bug?

  If so, can you please send a screenshot to see the problem? Or it would be better to have a screen recorder if possible. Thanks.

  Hi Alex, please see screenshot below. It has the question and then in the answer section it repeats the question again. I can't see anyway of turning this off.

  Is this a Brizy form? It looks quite different. Why don't delete the first option(which is a question) from the builder: https://jumpshare.com/v/h4YtVw5xhbuL5H7IuFh4

  Hi Alex, you can't delete the first option - see screenshot below. It is definitely a form.

  Hi Matthew,

  I had a word with our devs and it seems that this is correct behavior. All fields must have an "empty" value if the user does not want to respond, and in the case of Select field type, it is taken from the label.

  Hi Alex, thanks for the clarification.

  Is this likely to be changed in future updates, where you can leave an empty value without it taking it from the label?

  I will add this as a suggestion and together with the devs we will decide if we can do something in this regard.
