How to return latest written posts regardless of the category?

I  want to show latest posts on home page but I have to choose certain category in posts element.

Example: I want latest 5 posts regardless if there under "marketing" or "tech" category/

  The option in the photo is to choose "Uncategorized" which shows posts that have no category which Wordpress puts automatically under "Uncategorized".
  
  I need to get last posts according to date regardless of the post category.

  Hi,

  Unfortunately, at the moment, it is not possible to display all the latest posts, you can only choose one category. But, don't worry. There is always a solution :)

  You can add a general category to all your posts and then select this category to display on the homepage. Voila!
