Site Migration breaks Brizy

Hi there,

I designed my website on my local dev environment using Brizy. After finishing the design process, I backed up the whole site using BackupBuddy. I transfered the backup to the live server and restored it there. After the restoring process, my site looks strange. After some research, I figured out, that my style has been resetted - all colors and all fonts are back to default.

Is this a known problem? What's the best way to transfer a site using Brizy from local to live environment?

  Hi Sebastian,

  not sure about BackupBuddy but we tested All-in-One WP Migration with Brizy and works well. So I recommend to use it.

  Also, consider the manual migration. This method is the most reliable.

  Hi Alex,

  you are right, I just used another plugin (WPvivid Backup Pro) and it was working without problems. I just opened a ticket at iThemes (company behind BackupBuddy).
