    Hi,

tested Vimeo video background and it works fine at my end. Please make sure you have the latest Brizy versions: Free 1.1.14 and PRO 0.0.34. If all are up to date, please provide the link to your website, your login details(in a private request) and we will look into it. Thanks.

Brizy Cloud or Brizy WordPress? If WordPress, can you please confirm you have the latest Brizy versions - Free 1.0.124 and PRO 0.0.41? Have you tested this in different browsers?

I'm also running into this problem. I just upgraded to the pro account so I know that it's the latest version. I've had it happen on multiple browsers and multiple computers.

    Hi,

Free is also important so I will concretize once again: do you have Brizy Free 2.0.14 and PRO 2.0.7? Can you please send a screen recorder so we can see the actions and try to replicate it? Also, do you have the same problem if you disable all your external plugins?

    Hi,

I've had this problem since I first started using Brizy at the beginning of the year, I ended up going for a different layout so I'm not sure if the problem still persists. I'll post back here if I ever give it another test!

    Hi,

We will be grateful if you come back with an update and tell us if you still have difficulties in this regard.

I have version 2.0.16 of the free and 2.0.9 of the PRO. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like when it doesn't loop. It just shows what vimeo shows as it's loading up the next video.

    Hi,

could you please send us a short screen recorder so we can see the actions and try to reproduce the problem?

I don't think I can send videos in this comment box. The screen recording I have is greyed out. What I'm doing is that the background is a video that is linked to Vimeo. It happens on multiple pages for me, whenever I do that. The video plays automatically but, even though I have the loop option turned on, it doesn't loop. Sometimes it'll start back up again but much later, after it's been holding the screen I sent in the earlier message for a while.

    Hi,

Thanks for these details. I was able to reproduce the problem and it seems to have re-appeared in one of the latest versions. I've already sent this to devs. Sorry for the created inconvenience.

    Hi Alex,

I echo Erin Goodier's comments above. The problem first occurred in February of 2020 for me. Glad to know it's in the works of getting fixed!

yes, I remember it was once such a problem but it was fixed. That's why I say it reappeared. We will fix it as soon as possible.

I was about to report the same issue then the update came through and it now seems fixed in Brizy Pro 2.1.1. Thanks.

    Hi John,

I've updated and still have the problem, unfortunately. I did a quick test and left the page with the video loop running for a few minutes and came across it again. I don't think they've addressed it yet.

    Hi,

the problem was fixed in Brizy PRO 2.1.1. However, yesterday we released some more updates with urgent fixes. Please make sure you have the latest versions: Free 2.1.4 and PRO 2.1.2 Also, don't forget to clear your browser cache.

Hi, The issue is still present when using embed code from Vimeo on Brizy Pro using Brizy Cloud.

How can I fix this? I cannot make the video less than 5mb and upload it because the quality will then be terrible. The video is used in the background of the landing page.

    Hi,

can you please give us more details? This post was created for a problem in Brizy WordPress. Do you have a non-looping video background or did you add an embed video? If you use embed code then this is not very related to Brizy, because there you use custom code.

Hi Alex, I got Embed code from Vimeo and then set it to loop. The video loops a few times then gives the “more from” part -- Best Regards, Chris Lawrence

    Hi,

Brizy does not influence the embedded code so the problem may be with Vimeo. I tried this video and it works well for me. Could you test this? Doesn't Loop work for this video either?

    <iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/76979871?autoplay=1&loop=1&autopause=0" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowfullscreen></iframe>
