Font loading issue in Brizy Cloud

I have the exact same problem with an existing project I think. When trying to edit it, the custom fonts won't show in the preview pane and I hesitate to save any changes as it might break the currently cached (unaltered) live state.

Please help as we need to deploy those changes asap.

    Thanks!

    Hey guys,

We are aware of this issue and it is already being sent to our developers for investigation. In the meantime, I recommend using one of the Google Fonts. We will notify you when the issue with the custom font is fixed.

    Thanks,

but using a fallback font is not an option for this published project since we are restricted to corporate design guidelines.

Do you know if it's only an issue in the editor view? If so, I'd still be able to make some minor changes to the content.

    Yes,

clearing browser cache & cookies and logging back in helped in loading the fonts in the editor view again.

But one issue remains or was introduced with the last fix:

Changing font weight within one line of text affects the whole line, not just the span which was selected.

    Before:

    After:

The text span still has the "bold" formatting when selecting the text, see:

Can you check this again, please?

That's strange. I can't replica this on my side: https://jmp.sh/IveC5CF I tested with Google Font and Custom Font. Is this happening for all fonts and text on the site or only under certain conditions?

Ok, I checked again and it seems this might be an issue with headings and maybe also with the custom font in use, I have a light and bold font of the same family, but no "regular" installed.

but when switching to font-weight "normal" and using bold formatting, it works as expected in our case. so thanks! dunno if this needs further investigation then.

Custom Font light + Heading = tested and works as it should.

If you have installed a font that is bold, then the bold option from the toolbar doesn't make much sense because it is already bold by default. We will do further tests in this regard.

    Hi Sabrina,

Can you please give us more details about the issue you have?

    Hi Alex,

The problem is it is not displaying the font that I am setting it to. Like there is some type of sync problem.

Also the colours too. I will set the colour to blue and when it goes to live, the text turns purple.

    Hi,

This post is addressed to Brizy Cloud, but on the screenshot, I see elementor shortcode (which is WordPress). Can you please confirm you have this issue with the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.2.7. and PRO 2.2.3? Also, do you have the same problem if you disable all your external plugins?

    Yes, WordPress, my apologies.

Yes, this issue is occurring with the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.2.7. and PRO 2.2.3.

I have too many external plugins I am not able to disable.

We need to confirm that the problem is not due to an external plugin and then move on to inspect the problem. Please disable all your external plugins and check again. In any case, you could create a backup, but usually, a simple deactivation of the plugin does nothing serious.
