Error message: the_content filter
Pages were built using Brizy. Once I added Woocommerce and linked to my Store page, I get an error message that states: Sorry, Brizy could not load. Your theme must use the the_content filter in order for Brizy to work.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

this sounds like a theme issue? do you have a link to look at?

Hi,
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I hope your problem has been resolved in the meantime.
This error is usually caused by the template you use on the Brizy page. The solution is simple and all you have to do is to change the page template to Brizy template: https://jmp.sh/I4bf9BJ
Also, this error appears when you try to edit the shop/cart page with Brizy. These are WooCommerce pages and can't be edited with Brizy. At least right now.

Hi,
Are you trying to edit the page that is set as a blog page in WordPress settings? If so, you won't be able to do that. You can't edit a WordPress archive page with Brizy.
If you would like to have a blog page editable with Brizy, you should choose one of the following solutions:
1 - Create a simple page for Blog and edit it with Brizy. Inside this page add the Posts element. This element extract posts from a certain category. To display all posts, you need to set an extra category for all posts and then to select it for Posts elements. https://jmp.sh/2in2IzP Here you can find more details about Posts element - https://www.brizy.io/blog/brizy-pro-posts-element-2/
2 - Create a page for Blog but don't edit it with Brizy and don't activate the plugin for this page. Set this page as posts page in Settings -> Reading. After this go to Brizy -> Templates and create a new template for the Blog page. Here you have set a display condition for Blog/Post page and then Edit with Brizy. Inside it, you can add the Archive item and display the posts as desired. Please refer to these screenshots: https://jmp.sh/n1RikJL -> https://jmp.sh/LMAne7b -> https://jmp.sh/ZYRRD6hBTW: both solutions are for Pro users. For free version isn't possible to create a Blog page.

You should change the error message to read:
"Oops, you can't change the blog here. Here are the 2 ways you can..."
Rather than the generic the_content error message. Because people naturally flock to that page, if you have an alternate setup for how blog works, I'd suggest creating a link towards the proper way to do it or maybe embed the video explaining how to do it.

Hi,
thank you for your suggestion. The thing is that this is a general error that occurs when you try to edit a WordPress archive page, and also when you try to edit a WooCommerce page, so the suggested message is not valid for cases other than the blog page.

I'm having the same issue. It's a store with WooCommerce handling the product listings. The instructions I found are incomplete - the article showed me how to set up a product detail and product archive (kind of?) but that's it. There's no information about how to make it work. https://www.brizy.io/woocommerce-builder/

Hi,
Here's a video on how to customize the single product page: https://youtu.be/U3tBa4AL5mM For the Shop page we don't have a video ready yet but I will try to explain it to you in a few simple steps.
1. First configure in the WooCommerce settings which page you want to set as the Shop page https://jmp.sh/bdxiyGA;
2. Go to Brizy -> Templates -> Add new and create a template https://jmp.sh/V7gT3G2;
3. In the template add a suggestive name and most important add the right display condition. For the Shop page, you have to select the Product Archive and from here add the "Include -> Shop page". See here https://jmp.sh/mcF5TiR. Don't forget to click on "Add" and after this on the "Publish" to publish the template;
4 - Inside this template, you have to add the elements you want to display on the Shop page (header, footer, block with Archive element - we suggest adding this element because it will select all products from all categories and will display on this page) https://jmp.sh/xMRRb1G.One important thing is that the Shop page in "Pages" should not have been edited with the Brizy editor.
In fact, the idea is very similar to how to create a blog page with Brizy, so you might find this video useful: https://youtu.be/cWJEetL4f-s

I'm going to to follow the steps above one more time before I give up after two hours and move on to another solution... Setting the page template to Brizy Template, does NOT FIX, the above mentioned errors.... At all!

If you do not succeed please give me more details and I will try to help you.

Hi everyone,
I am having the same problem with the products page, followed the instructions, but I can't find the new template page created in Brizy in my site pages list. I have tried other suggestions, but can't seem to call up the template into the published site pages.
What am I doing wrong..?

Hi,
did you check this video: https://youtu.be/U3tBa4AL5mM ? You do not have to find the new template created in the pages list. This is a template and can only be found in Brizy -> Templates. In the settings, you choose the pages to which it applies.
