setting link and vanishing overlay

I am setting an overlay for a block on hover (solid black with 20% transparency) …

within brizy it works as it should; but in preview (or live mode) the mouseover is not visible when a link is set. On the blocks with no links the mouseover works...

Can anyone second this?

Is there a solution?

  Hey :)

  yes it'sa know issue CSS wise... the team has this on the "to do" list but it seems to be a bit tricky to find a solution - so i have no clue when there will be a solution to the issue :(

  Any updates?

   

  It seems as though the hover effect works ONLY if there is no active link set.

  Once a link is attached, the hover effect breaks.
