Parallax "animated" messing with the scroll on long pages
Hello,
Active plugins: Brizy + Brizy PRO + Classic Editor
I think i found a bug. The thing is: the full page scrolls from the top to bottom in maximum 6 wheel downs. This is frustrating because when the page is getting longer and longer(usually the homepage which has a presentation of the other categories in the menu) it "flies supersonically" to the bottom. At the start of the designing, the scroll is ok. But as you gradually add more blocks to the page and the page gets longer and longer the scroll down is faster and faster.
The mouse setting is at the default of 3 lines per scroll. So it's something that plays with this setting in the browser(in Chrome and also in Mozilla, so it's not a browser thing).
After some digging i found out that blocks with a background image and parallax set to "animated" are the culprits. The "fixed" setting for parallax is ok. So the "animated" setting plays with the scrolling mechanism and makes it faster and faster with each block configured with the same setting.
Just do this and see for yourself:
1) add a block with a picture in the background
2) set the parallax to "animated"
3) clone the block 5 times
4) scroll
It was discovered by coincidence. I design a website and i want the homepage to be with parallax "animated", but found out this bug. Until the fix, i'll go with the "fixed" setting.
Please fix! Many thanks!

We plan to change the whole parallax code. We know about it. Go with the fixed for now, until a fix will come.
Thanks for letting us know.

No man sorry, we have so much on our plate right now, the parallax change felt a bit on the priority list. We'll get to it eventually.

Oh that sucks. I just tried to adapt a client site to Brizy and ran into this issue today. Guess I may have to find a different page builder for them.

This still causes the same bug even on the latest release in May 2022. You do have to wonder about the commitment to make core functionality within the WP Plugin side of Brizy reliable. These are elements that have been included for over two years. As an early adopter and Lifetime investor things like this being ignored make it hard to use Brizy on production websites.

Hi Christopher,
Thank you for contacting us.
I'm sorry for this inconvenience. We know about this issue from Brizy builder. We are very sorry that it is not fixed. The team is working on it and we will try to fix it in the near future. However, it is not the easiest task and we need more time. This is a time-consuming task, and I'm really sorry we can not give you a fast solution on it, no matter how much we want. Thanks for your patience and for your understanding.
Regards, Nelea.
