    Hi Terry,

Archives element is only available in Archive Brizy Template. You will not have the Archives item on a simple page or on a template created for a single post/page. The post element you can create in a simple page/post.

    Best regards,

    Nelea.

Sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean. Can I get a little more thorough response...maybe some screen shots? I believe I'm following Dimi's March 2020 tutorial stroke for stroke.

    Thank you.

    Hi Terry,

Since the video was released, some changes have been made to Brizy templates. There are now 2 types of templates: Single and Archive. If you want to use the Archive element, you need to create an Archive template. for example, if you want to create a template for all categories you should set the display condition as follows: template type: Archive Condition: Include - Categories - All. In this template with this display condition you will be able to add and use the Archive element

    Best regards,

    Nelea

Sorry for lecturing, but Dimi has to realize that you can put some overlay onto the current Youtube video indicating there's been an update. He can also put something into the description. Your video tutorials -- especially one just a little over a year old -- have to be bulletproof. Shame, shame.

    Hi Terry,

The basic steps in creating the template for all categories or blog page wasn’t changed from that moment. Was modified only the availability for the Archive element. Since then, was better structured the template types. Therefore, now you don’t have a long list with all possible pages and posts where you can attach the template. Now, this process is more correct because you have a Single template type and an Archive template type. In such a way you can’t add the wrong display conditions and the list can continue. Therefore, the Archive element was set available only for Archive template type and this is the correct way.

    Best regards,

    Nelea

    Nelea -

I also don't see how I cannmake these templates available for new blog posts. I only have "Brizy Template" and "Default Template".

    Hi Brenda,

It is not possible to create page templates. Brizy template is a page template created by Brizy, and Default is a page template created by the theme. Depending on the theme, there may be other page templates.

    Best regards,

    Nelea
