Pro Licence, ShortPixel API Key & Global Colour Scheme Settings Keep Getting Lost

Brizy can be so frustrating to use because it cannot get basic things right!

The Pro Licence, ShortPixel API & Global Colour Scheme settings cannot be saved despite repeated re-entering of the settings. These settings keep getting lost after being saved and working for half a day or so! Only these settings get unsaved. Changes made to web pages are saved properly but the colour scheme on the website goes haywire, images cannot be optimised, because these settings are lost and need to be entered again and again!

    Hi,

    Thank you for all these details. Can you tell us when did you encounter this problem? Did you try to delete the site and server cache? Also, could you please try to temporarily deactivate external plugins (except Brizy Free and Pro) and activate the Twenty Nineteen default theme? Also, could you please update the Brizy Pro to the latest 2.2.11 version?

    1. Just noticed that even when the colour scheme is fine, the Pro licence and Shortpixel API settings are lost. 
     
    2. Let’s forget about the colour scheme. Let’s say your partner theme Blocksy is to be blamed. But saving the Pro licence and Shortpixel API settings are a basic functionality that the old Brizy Pro from a year ago worked fine. 
     
    3. This site was built more than a year ago. There have been no new themes, plugins or other changes.
     
    4. The problems happened about two weeks ago. The loss of the settings happens randomly. I might update a page and everything looks fine. 
    => Then the colour scheme reverts to the default. Then I found out the Pro licence and Shortpixel API settings were lost.

    I just realized I have the exact same behavior. I just had to restore a backup of my entire site because all the colours and stiles of my site changed after I modifiead one page.

    Hi Sandra,

    1. The previously reported issue of losing the licence setting is still happening with the site with Blocksy.

    2. Two days ago, a site with the Brizy starter theme faced the same issue and all the site's colours reverted to the default Overpass global colours.

    Please help as it is stressful that the site's colours can go haywire any time. 

    Yes, latest everything 2.3.9 & 2.3.7 but the problem still happens. Two months ago, it was Brizy Free 2.2.17 and Brizy Pro 2.2.11.

    Has there been a solution on this - experiencing the exact same thing. Including Shortpixel. 

    @ Albert - can we compare Serversettings or Plugins in order to narrow it down?

    Hi Philipp,

    No solution from Brizy. I live with this anxiety: clients telling me that the colour scheme has gone haywire. 

    I have made comparisons among my sites (eg same server type & settings Vultr HF, etc). The unique aspect seems to be the Blocksy theme (a Brizy partner). One observation is that when there are Brizy updates, the Pro licence goes missing in the Brizy Settings. But this isn't consistent.

    What are your observations?
