Play Lottie animation on scroll

Hi,

I wanted to know how I can get an animation to play only while scrolling. For example, I start scrolling down and the Lottie animation plays, then I stop scrolling and the Lottie animation stops. Then when I scroll back upwards, the Lottie animation plays in reverse. How can I do this?

  Hi,

  Unfortunately, it isn't possible to activate this option to the Lottie element. You can set it with absolute or fixed position but it isn't possible to activate it on scrolling and stop it when the scrolling is stopped too. We are working on a new improvement and we plan to add 2 more triggers to the Lottie. They are, on hover and on click with the possibility to set up the loop and count. Unfortunately, I can't say exactly when we will release this improvement but we are doing our best to release it as soon as possible.

  I have this question too. Can you do this with CSS? It’d add soooo much functionality to pages!

  Hi Ross,

  To achieve this result will require JS code. If you are familiar with coding, you can try to add your custom code and check if this will work.
