ACF WYSIWYG field not displaying in WooCommerce product category template

Hi,

I have created a group of ACF fields containing a "brand history" WYSIWYG field and applied the group to show when Taxonomy is equal to Category (product _cat), which should apply it to product categories. When I go in to edit a category, I do see the custom field. I have added some content to this field for one product category.

In the Brizy product category template, I insert a text field and set up the #BrandHistory content tag to pull in the ACF field content.

However, while I do seem to get some code inserted, I don't get the full field content.

This is what I see inserted in the page code at the point where I have added the text field:

In there somewhere, within the first set of <span></span> tags, I guess, I should be seeing the content of the field for that product category, but there is nothing.

I am using ACF field insertion successfully in several places on the single product template using this kind of method.

Is there some issue with inserting ACF fields on product category templates, or some problem with the way I have done it?

  Hi Peter,

  Did you create the "brand history" field for the Product Category https://jmp.sh/22Uym10? Could you please send us a screenshot of how did you set up the display condition for the template? Did you add a similar display condition https://jmp.sh/Mn5AMfl?

  Could you please show us how did you set up the #brandhistory dynamic field? Did you add the text element and inside it started to type # and from the predefined list, you selected the #brandhsitory field?

  Nothing appears on the front end of the category page. As I said, it inserts some code (see my original post) but not the field content.
