    Hi,

Thank you for your message and for being our Lifetime user. We are happy to see you in our big community and hope you will enjoy Brizy builder more and more.

I will follow the same structure you used for your questions to fit in the same format.

    1. Dynamic Fields

1.1 Yes, you can add the custom fields in the Brizy template by adding them with the "#" symbol. You will not be able to see the content in the editor mode but in the preview, all will be displayed fine. But here is a small restriction. If you are in the template for the X CPT, you can add the custom field from the Y CPT but they will not display some content. This happens because the template is something like a sketch. In the template, you structure how you want to display a page/post. In the preview, this template will "cover" the original post/page, will extract all necessary information, data and content and will fill them in the indicated places. To summarize, if the template is set up to display for all posts from X CPT, on the preview you will see only the data from that certain post. The field allocated for Y CPT, will not be filled with some data, because on the post from X CPT they aren't available.

1.2. How did you create the relationship between 2 Custom Post Types? As I know, the Custom Post Type is an independent entity and they can't be related to another Custom Post Type. A CPT can be related to ACF, Pods, services that offer custom fields.

    2. Dynamic Posts

2.1. I'm not sure if I correctly understand what did you mean by "creating a query", could you please give us more details or send us some examples?
You can create custom fields with the ACF or Pods and connect them to the CPT. In such a way, when you will create a template for this CPT, you will be able to use and display the custom fields of this CPT.

2.2. Could I ask you what did you mean by "dynamic post"? Brizy works with dynamic content, which means that in the template you indicate the name of the field and after this in the preview, Brizy will populate that field with the correct data in a dynamic way. Each post will be displayed on its own information without any additional action.

2.3. Yes, you can display custom posts inside a single custom post but in this case, you should create custom taxonomies.
For this, you have to use the Posts element and select the taxonomy of posts you want to display. See here. At the bottom of this list, you can find the Custom taxonomies.

    3. Support - This forum is the first source where you can get Brizy support. Here you can find faster the answer to your question. For example, if you encounter a problem, you can search it here and find the answer. If you have a common problem that other users face, you can find the causes that generate that problem and solutions. In such a way, you will find it in a maximum of 1 hour. Also, here you can interact with other Brizy users and help each other with solutions and suggestions.
In cases when we found that the problem is a bit complex and hard to reproduce on our test sites, we ask for the WP, FTP or Cpanel credentials to check the behaviour of the problem directly from the user's dashboard. For these cases, we create a private ticket and in such a way the user can be secure that his data are sent privately.

3.2. For more details about how Pods works with Brizy you can find it in this article. Also, for more details about how Brizy works, you can check our documentation, YouTube channel and Blog.

3.3. Yes, according to our Terms and Conditions, we can offer a refund 30 days after the purchase. If the purchase is older than 30 days, unfortunately, we can't send it.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra,

    Thanks for your fast response!

Apologies probably should have broken out these into seperate posts

    Dynamic fields in templates

    1.1 IN CPT1 using # to see CPT2

When i use the shortcode function [pods field="CPT2.post_title"] or [pods field="CPT2.field_name"] i am able to retrieve content from CPT2 in CPT1. when i use # it shows every field. do i just assume it is just a bug and it is just returning all possible fields and not available fields? what is the criteria for what can be shown in CPT1 from CPT2?

    1.2 CPT Relationships

I used used pods to create a CPT1 then a field called "related_cpt1" in CPT2 to link them together. In the CPT2 template i cannot see #related_cpt1 is that (is that is now referencing an object and not a field name?)

    Dynamic Posts -

    2.1 & 2.3

when i say dynamic post i mean the element you now call 'post'.

and when i say 'query' i think is what you would refer to as 'filter'

In Wordpress, i would say it only offer a single taxonomy query in order to show post in the 'post' element

in comparison to brizy cloud im able to 'filter/query' on more broader 'sources' which is what i'm hoping to do but also add another parameter to filter by.

Im 'non technical' but the only way i can describe how i would expect 'post' to work is like how you can in JIRA run a search query to return results on issues. which can be based on 'field' and 'labels' at the moment in birzy 'post' only supports a query on one 'label' and not multiple labels (taxonomies).

3 - super useful! i just could't find the articles in search. im using YT this community to work out what i need to do..

    Thanks again

    Hi,

Thank you for your replies. No, it isn't a problem, you can ask as many questions in a single post as you want. All is fine! :)

    1. Dynamic Fields.

Thank you for all these applications and details. Now, I could better understand your situation and what you try to create. If I correctly understand, in the first Pods, you added a Relationship field to connect with the second Pods. Now, you would like to display the related fields from the second pods in the first one. Unfortunately, this will not be possible to release and display in the Brizy builder because at the moment, we don't have a specific element that will be able to read this dynamic content. To make this possible, it is required that the accordion, tab, gallery or other elements be able to read this pods field and display it correctly in the preview.

    2 - Dynamic Posts

Thank you for too all these details. Yes, unfortunately, in the Brizy WordPress plugin, at the moment, it isn't possible to display posts by 2 or more filters but we plan to improve this aspect. Now, we don't have an ETA for it but we are working hard and doing our best to release it as soon as possible.

Let us know if we can help you with something else.

    Best regards,
    Sandra
