Domain migration to live site - page links pointing to the old domain
Hello team,
We migrated the development site wpengine.madeinurope.com to https://itisimadeineurope.com and changed the links using 'search and replace'. On WP databases, it shows as all changed but all the template links on the site are still pointing to the development domain (wpengine.itismadeineurope.com) (links in menus are working as it should be - pointing to https://itismadeineurope.com)
wpengine support team could not identify the issue either.
Would you know if there is another place where I need to change the links?

Hi,
I checked now the page and all links are set up correctly. See here in the bottom left corner. I noticed that some articles don't have links. Could I ask how did you display these posts?
Thanks!
Best regards,

Hi Sandra,
Thanks for your help. I could not wait much longer so started changing the links manually. It is now done on the home page, but not on this page, for example - https://itismadeineurope.com/unique-gift-ideas/
I am not sure I understand "how did you display the posts?"

Hi Tomas,
Thank you for all these details. Could you please give us more details about how did you create this block? Did you create it manually without dynamic content? How did you set up the link on the development site? Did you set them with the long structure (https://sitename/page)? Or did you set them using the short structure and indicate only the page and anchor links (/page1 or /page1/#anchor_link)?
Actually, we don't recommend adding the long structure for the internal link inside the site because in such a way the link is "hardcoded" and it can't be changed in case the site is migrated to another domain. If the site will be migrated we suggest using the short structure and indicate only the page name to avoid such inconveniences you reported. Now, I can suggest only going to each page and update the link to the new domain name.
Best regards,

Hi Sandra,
That helps, thank you. I will change it manually and will change the way I link pages on the next project.
BLOCK - yes I created this block manually. I did try to use the dynamic content feature to create this, but I failed. It did not display as well as on the tutorial.

Hi,
Thank you too for all these details!
If you need some help with the block and dynamic content, could you please give us more details about the things that didn't display as in the tutorials? What elements did you use? How did you want to display them? How you style them? How they displayed?
Best regards,
Sandra0
