Documentation for the Brizy Sidebar Element
Hello,
I would like to build a sidebar using the sidebar element. So far I used the column element and that is fine, but I was wondering if the sidebar element has additional features (such as becoming a global block for example). I tried to find some documentation on the sidebar element, but to no avail. Could you please help?
Thank you!

Hi Calin,
The Sidebar element is an element specific to the Brizy WordPress plugin and it is a WordPress element. Its structure and style can't be customized by Brizy builder but from the WordPress dashboard. It isn't possible to customize the Sidebar element in Brizy editor because the sidebar's elements (widgets) are provided from different sources (theme, plugins) and all of them are rendered by WordPress in their style based on their technology. When Brizy import the content from the sidebar, it takes it in such a way how the WordPress give it and it is impossible to change these styles. The content is only indirectly related to the document's main content. The technology of the Sidebar doesn't allow to customize it. You can see also on the Elementor, Beaver or Divi, they also don't allow to customize the content of the Sidebar.
The global functionality is available only for blocks not also for the rows or columns. Therefore, if you want to display the sidebar on all Brizy pages, you have to make as global the block where is added the Sidebar element.
