Endorsal widget text issue
I have embed an Endorsal review widget on my site (https://www.stylie.co/#testimonials) but the text is not displaying the correct font. I am only using one font throughout my site, Montserrat, and this is setup in Global Styling.
Here is a screenshot of the widget - https://d.pr/i/CLQZ7S
The Endorsal support suggested adding the following custom CSS to Brizy, but it didn't make a difference.
body, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, p, li, ul, a, span {
font-family: 'Montserrat' !important, sans-serif !important;
}
I also tried this custom CSS, but again no luck
.ndrsl-live-avatar-below-card .ndrsl-live-container p.ndrsl-live-user-comments {
font-family: 'Montserrat' !important, sans-serif !important;
}
Endorsal support then said "The entry in the custom css looks ok, however I would recommend checking if that CSS is active when the web page is displayed. In other words, it may or may not be overriding the default styling in Brizy. If it's not overiding the default styling, you may need to check that with the Brizy team. The issue is not Endorsal here, but the transfer of CSS from the Brizy backend to the website displayed."

Hi,
When is added an embed code in the Brizy builder, it is displayed as it is and Brizy doesn't have some implication in that embed code. Therefore, the code is displayed with data and styles they have in the embed code and Brizy doesn't add their code and classes in that.
Anyway, I checked the URL you send us and find that now all is displaying fine with the correct font attached. See here. Could you please delete the browser cache and check it again?
Thanks!
Best regards,

Hi Sandra, Thanks for your reply.
My temporary workaround was to add a style tag to the embed code itself. If I remove that tag then it loses the default font.But this is not an ideal solution as there are some widgets which are displayed via JS and I am unable to correct the font for these.

Hi,
I'm sorry but this isn't a Brizy inconvenience and we can't help you at all with it because it is related to the embed code. I only can suggest adding all the styles you want and need to apply to the embed code inside the embed code. As I said before, Brizy can't apply its styles or code on the external code added through embed code or shortcode.
Best regards,
Sandra0
