impact of image compression on site performance
I've built a site with a fair number of images in it (350+ per ShortPixel - but not that many unique ones). Before doing the in-Brizy compression with ShortPixel, I ran a performance test on two of the pages with GTMetrix. I then did the compression and repeated the tests. The results deteriorated.
I did not do an independent installation of ShortPixel, so the media library, as per your instructions, is not affected.
All pages and templates were done in Brizy, none outside of Brizy.
The 2 pages tested were encore.websitesbykts.com and encore.websitesbykts.com/our-fabrics .
I'd appreciate your comments and guidance. I can provide the performance reports as pdf files.

Hi,
I checked the performance of your site using the GTMetrix and I didn't found a critical issue related to the images https://jmp.sh/StyzpKs but I found some inconveniences that could be solved if you improve the optimization level of the entire site. For this, we can suggest these:
1 - Choose a quality hosting plan;
2 - Keep updated your plugins, theme and WP;
3 - Delete the plugins and themes you do not use anymore;
4 - Add a clean cache plugin and run it;
5 - Clean the media library from the images you don't use anymore and the first revisions from the pages and posts you know certainly you will not need;
6 - Optimize the database (WP Optimizer).Best regards,
