What is the "Random" filter supposed to do in a blog? I expected that different blog posts of a certain category would show in a random order each time you loaded it, but this does not appear to be working- they appear in the same order every time.

  Hi,

  Items are displayed randomly but only when you activate this option. It will not be displayed randomly at each refresh. I have opened an internal issue and we will see how we can improve this.

  Hi there,
  
  I am looking for the same functionality described by Philip - I want to randomise how all posts display in all WordPress categories regardless of the name of the category and the number of posts within each category. I also want them displayed in a different order every time the category page is refreshed.
  
  Has there been an update for this functionality? Is it possible to implement, and if yes - how?
