Horizontal tabs in Tablet/Mobile
I see this question has been already asked here https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/360015525318-tabs-on-tablet-preview
I just wanted to stress the importance of this. I was thinking of solving the issue described here by using several tabs with posts elements in each classified by sub-categories to simulate an actual dynamic post grid with proper tags as explained in my last post (linked), but if they turn to vertical when in tablet or mobile instead of the most logical way, which would be to stay horizontal, it's impossible for the user to guess where the next row of content is, they'd have to scroll searching for the next tab. Now, this beats me, you're leaving me with no choice but to make different pages with the posts all distributed in categories and sub-categories in them.
What is this???
When I bought Brizy I knew there would be some drawbacks and probably some small bugs, but this is basic functionality.
What will I tell my client??? It's a joke, really.

Hi,
at the moment the vertical option is not available for the Tab element on mobile. By default, it will be arranged vertically and is the only option available for mobile. But, we have an open issue on this case, so when it is solved, the horizontal option will be added.

Hi Brizy!
Same issue here ... this really is a very, very bad mobile behavior, I would say unsusable depending on the content (like in my case). I asked myself if there's some sort of CSS-code to fix the problem and to set the tabs on then top-side until it's fixed in Brizy.
Kind regards!

Hi Sascha,
As a work around until we have a fix, please consider this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/tabby-responsive-tabs/ It has an option to make mobile tabs horizontal.
Please see my test page here. https://kctest.online/tab

Hi,
Did Brizy add the option for horizontal tabs on mobile by now? Don't feel like paying for a plugin only for this.
Kind regards

Hi Jan,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, we have not made any progress on adding the option for horizontal tabs on mobile devices at this time, as we have been focusing on other priorities.
We kindly request that you submit this request on our roadmaps page. This will allow you and other users to vote for this feature, increasing its chances of being included in our development roadmap. You can access the roadmaps page at https://www.brizy.io/ideas-and-roadmap.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any further questions or need assistance with any other aspect, please feel free to let us know.
Best regards,

Hi Arial, thanks for your response. I'll go ahead and submit the request. In the meantime, could you guide us in the right direction for achieving this with custom CSS code?

Hi Jan,
Thank you for the update.
Unfortunately, I am not aware of a CSS to address this issue. From what I see, it is mimicking the accordion element behavior on mobile, making it complex to solve using CSS alone.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
