Google Search Console: Indexed, not submitted in sitemap

Hi there, I'm facing a similar issue with one of the users here. When inspecting an URL in Google Search Console, it states that the URL is on Google.

When checking the coverage, it shows "Indexed, not submitted in sitemap".

To be safe, I have submitted 2 sitemaps - one with "www" and one without "www".

In the sitemap, it shows the URL in it:

Before I continue with the project, may I seek assistance in resolving this issue?

  Hi Zack,

  We checked your site and the sitemap generated for your site. It seems to be correct and validated. See here. Also, from your screenshots, we found that the sitemap is added and submitted successfully in the Google Search Console account.

  We can't say exactly why the sitemap isn't found by Google, maybe the site content need a bit more SEO improvements. From our part all is done correctly, the sitemap is generated, it is valid and it is added successfully in the Google account. From this part, it all depends on the SEO level has the site and how Google will index and interpret the sitemap.

  Hi Sandra, yes it is a side project which I am working on so SEO wise, will definitely need more work in that department. Since we can confirm that everything has been done right on Brizy end, then we will just leave it as it is.

  I also facing the same issue and cant find any solution about it and i am sending screenshot about it please see below

   

  My all urls get shifted form " index and submitted " to "index and not submitted in sitemap"

  Hi,

  We would like to help you with this inconvenience but it isn't related to Brizy. We suppose that Google algorithms need a bit more time to check and verify your site. Also, we suppose that as in other cases, the sitemap is already submitted successfully but Google doesn't index it. Therefore, we can recommend analyzing the site content if it is SEO friendly and let Google some time to process all the information.
